Hah! Now THIS is what I was grumbling to see the whole time I was reading. But even more, I wanted a street-level map of the city where all the action takes place. So I love maps, sue me. But this one is great.
There is a map of the Keep, but it’s in very rough form. I hope to get it cleaned up and posted soon. But I released the book intentionally without one.
Too many authors use their map as a crutch and fail to describe things well enough in prose to orient the reader. So I challenged myself to work without that safety net. Did I succeed? I guess we’ll know when I finally release the street map, and you guys can tell me if it matches the map in your head.
