Creativity in practice: Understanding and harnessing your creative potential

For one of the most highly prized of all human attributes, creativity is one of the least well understood. Most people think you either have it or you don’t, but this only demonstrates how little people understand it. In this talk, I explore creativity as humanity’s chief weapon against adversity and outline how we have been finely tuned over thousands of generations to be the most creative and adaptive species ever to walk the planet. If you haven’t got any creativity in you, you must be dead. This talk works best as a group-participation discussion.

Audience: creative writers, composers, visual artists, graphic designers, marketers
