The universe made me do it

Wow. It’s like falling in love again. Or maybe I’ve had a taste of what it’s like to be separated from your children for a long time and then finally to come home.

Whatever it’s like, I am back in the world of Methilien again and I simply could not be happier.

I’m on retreat in Banff this week, and I am writing productively for the first time in what seems like forever. An enormous funk has fallen away from me and the sky is shining. But wait! Look at the skyline. I don’t freaking believe it, but can you see that mountain right there? The one framed right in the centre of my studio window? I do believe the universe is telling me that I am finally right where I am supposed to be.

How does it tell me this, you ask? Because from here, I can actually see Abeni’s house.*
