Announcing the 2016 ImmerseOrDie Anthology

SW-Cover-full15 great fantasy and science fiction short stories from 15 great indie authors for one amazing price: absolutely free.

We started with all the authors whose books survived the IOD treadmill last year, then we asked each of them to nominate one more author – someone who they felt also “had game.” Then we asked each of the authors in that total pool to do something unusual. We asked them to submit their best short stories. Not their most recent. Not the ones they’d been having trouble selling. Their best. And from those 34 authors, 25 heeded our call.

But this wouldn’t be IOD if we left it at that. No, that’s when we added our customary twist of brutality, by throwing the entire submission pile into a room full of angry, squint-eyed judges and telling them to tear everything apart.

When the judges could finally be pulled from the shredded carcasses, there were only 15 stories left for our editors to work with. They took them back to the authors and then spent months, working in shifts, buffing and polishing, until at long last, our story collection is finally ready. It’s called All These Shiny Worlds.

And now we’re just going to give it away.

Why? Because the ImmerseOrDie mission is about more than just finding flaws to critique. It’s also about finding gems to celebrate. And that’s exactly what this anthology is all about. Giving something back to existing fans of indie fiction and giving the doubters a free sampler of what they’ve been missing.

We’ll stack this one up against any other indie collection anywhere, but don’t just take our word for it. Download it now and put it to your own treadmill test. Or read it in the bath. Who are we to judge your happy place? But wherever you read, get this one now and take it there. It’s available on Kindle, Kobo, Apple and Nook. For free. Your next great read is just a click away.

And if you have any friends who’re always dissing indie fiction, send ‘em a link to this article. This is the proof you’ve been waiting for.

Finally! Free at ALL major ebook stores.
